We Can Take the Heat

Reduce your potential for fatigue and heat stress.

Unlike other aluminized fabrics that can be rigid and heavy, CarbonX Aluminzed Solutions enhance both protection and comfort for professionals working in molten-metal and high-heat environments. Our aluminized products are flexible and lightweight yet still provide maximum temperature resistance and extraordinary protection against radiant heat and molten metal splash. In fact, they are among the lightest materials on the market able to pass the ASTM F955 pour test for molten iron, aluminum, and copper.

CarbonX aluminized fabrics incorporate a multilayer aluminization process that ensures a high level of abrasion resistance so the fabric remains highly reflective.

The high-performance base fabric provides a persistent barrier and maintains its flexibility even after it is aluminized. Constructed to be truly non-flammable, the base fabric will not burn, melt, or ignite; withstands extremely high temperatures; and remarkably sheds spatter, sparks, and other hot liquids and molten metal. Its lighter weight and flexibility also significantly reduce a wearer’s potential for fatigue and heat stress, while increasing comfort and productivity.

CarbonX MaxAir

CarbonX MaxAir is the newest addition to the TexTech Industries' CarbonX Aluminized Solutions product line. This innovative fabric combines our brand’s signature protective properties with maximum comfort and breathability. Its first-of-a-kind construction includes layers of hydrophobic and hydrophilic fibers which repel and pull moisture away from the body. The moisture escapes through a unique perforated aluminum surface, creating a dramatic cooling effect.

This informative post on the TexTech Industries blog dives into the facts and details about our innovative CarbonX MaxAir technology.
